Pharmacological action

Clinical and pharmacological group: Enterosorbentpharmacotherapy group: Enterosorbent sredstvofarmakologicheskoe deystvie Enterosorbent. Enterodez® binds toxins entering the gastrointestinal tract and formed in the body, and removes them through the intestines. Pharmacokinetics are not absorbed, not metabolized, and excreted through the gastrointestinal tract.

Indications

As a means of detoxification in the following cases: :

— toxic forms of acute infectious gastrointestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis, food toxicoinfections)—

– liver failure—

– kidney failure.

Recommendations for use

The drug is taken orally,1-2 hours after eating or taking medications. The drug is diluted at the rate of 2.5 g of powder per 50 ml of cold boiled water. To improve the taste, sugar or fruit juices can be added to the solution. Adults are prescribed 100 ml of the prepared solution 1-3 times / day for 2-7 days (until the symptoms of intoxication disappear). For children older than 1 year, the drug is prescribed at the rate of 0.3 g / kg of body weight/day.

Contraindications

Side effects

From the digestive system: rapidly passing nausea and vomiting (not a reason for discontinuation of the drug). Allergic reactions may occur.

Special instructions

The prepared solution should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4°C for no more than 3 days.

Powder for preparing a solution for oral use is white or slightly yellowish in color, with a weak specific smell, hygroscopic; the prepared solution is a transparent or slightly opalescent, colorless or slightly yellowish liquid.
