Pharmacological action
Indovazine is a local anti-inflammatory, decongestant, analgesic, and angioprotective agent.
It inhibits cyclooxygenase I and II and inhibits PG synthesis.
Reduces capillary permeability and fragility, suppresses platelet aggregation, and improves microcirculation.
Indications
- Pain and edematous syndrome in musculoskeletal diseases (bursitis, tendovaginitis, synovitis, etc. and varicose veins);
- trophic disorders on the background of chronic venous insufficiency;Â
- post-traumatic hematomas.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Breast-feeding should be discontinued for the duration of treatment.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs), peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (acute phase), blood coagulation disorders of unknown etiology, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal mucosal polyps, pregnancy, breast-feeding, age up to 14 years.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: Â hyperemia of the skin, rash, urticaria, pruritus.
How to take, course of use and dosage
Externally,1-2 cm of gel is applied with light rubbing movements to the affected areas 2-3 times a day.
The course of treatment is no more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
