Composition

Pharmacokinetics When applied topically, it is absorbed slowly, practically does not accumulate. The bioavailability of the gel is about 5%. After use at a dose of 50-150 mg, the plasma concentration after 5-8 hours is 0.08-0.15 mcg / ml. It is metabolized by conjugation with glucuronic acid. No active metabolites are formed.
Indications

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, wet dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 12 years).
Side effects
Rarely-allergic reactions: hyperemia of the skin, photosensitization, skin exanthema, purpura. In such cases, treatment with the drug should be discontinued. Itching, burning sensation at the site of application of the drug.
Interaction
When ketoprofen is applied externally in the form of a gel, drug and other interactions have not been established.
How to take, course of use and dosage
Externally. A strip of gel 4-6 cm long is applied with light massaging movements to the skin in the area of soreness and inflammation. The duration of use without consulting a doctor is not more than 10 days.
Overdose
Extremely low systemic absorption of the active components of the drug with external use makes overdose almost impossible.
Special instructions
Do not apply to open wounds or inflamed skin! Avoid contact with eyes (risk of conjunctival irritation) and mucous membranes. After working with the gel, you should immediately wash your hands.
