Composition

Active ingredient:

Lactobacilli are acidophilic at least 4 billion CFU

Auxiliary substances: components of the drying protective medium (gelatin, sucrose (sugar), milk).

Pharmacological action

Lactobacterin is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent.

Pharmacodynamics

Live lactobacilli included in the preparation have antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria (including staphylococci, proteus, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli), normalize the digestive activity of the gastrointestinal tract, improve metabolic processes, and contribute to the restoration of natural immunity.

Glycogen of the vaginal epithelium is metabolized to lactic acid, which maintains the pH of the vagina at the level of 3.8-4.2.

Lactic acid in high concentrations creates unfavorable conditions for the vital activity of acid-sensitive pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria.

Indications

• chronic colitis
• dysbiosis (including after antibiotic therapy)
• inflammation of the vagina, including in pregnant women.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity;
• candidiasis.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Interaction

Due to the high antibiotic resistance of lactobacilli, the use of lactobacilli in antibiotic therapy is allowed.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Lactobacterin is prescribed orally 30-40 minutes before meals for 2 — 5 doses 2 times a day.

The duration of the course for acute diseases is 2 — 4 weeks, for chronic diseases-4-6 weeks and longer.

The drug can be combined with antibiotics!

Before use, the drug is diluted with boiled water (1 dose in 1 teaspoon).

Overdose

Not registered.

The dissolved drug is not subject to storage.

Unsuitable for use is a drug whose packaging integrity is broken (cracked vials), a drug without labeling, a drug with altered physical properties (discoloration, wrinkling of biomass), in the presence of foreign inclusions.
