Pharmacological action

Indications

The drug Lident Baby is prescribed for teething. Lident Baby helps to quickly relieve teething pain and reduce gum irritation. The drug Lident Baby also has a weak antiseptic effect.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to lidocaine, other amide anesthetics, cetylpyridinium or any other component of the drug;
• rare hereditary fructose intolerance;
• children under 3 months of age.

Side effects

When using Lident Baby in accordance with these instructions for use, adverse reactions are unlikely. However, there have been isolated cases of hypersensitivity to lidocaine after local injections in adults and children over the age of 12 years. Hypersensitivity, which occurred in these cases, was expressed in the form of localized edema, accompanied by minor breathing difficulties or a generalized rash. A small amount of chamomile in the fragrance may cause allergic reactions. In individuals predisposed to atopy, hypersensitivity to the substances contained in chamomile manifests itself in the form of difficulty breathing. Anaphylactic reactions have been reported when taking herbal tea containing chamomile. People with hypersensitivity may experience a positive skin reaction when using preparations containing chamomile. In case of any adverse reactions, you should stop using Lident Baby and consult your doctor for advice.

How to take, course of use and dosage

For application on the mucous membrane. Lident Baby is intended for children aged 3 months and older. A small amount of gel (about 7.5 mm) is applied to the tip of a clean finger and gently rubbed into the inflamed area of the child’s gums. If necessary, the gel can be applied repeatedly at intervals of 20 minutes, but no more than 6 times a day. Patients with impaired renal function have not been studied. Patients with impaired liver function have not been studied.
