Composition

Racemic menthol 2.5 g, novocaine 1 g, anaesthesin 1 g, ethyl alcohol 70% to 100 ml

Pharmacological action

Pharmacotherapy group: local anesthetic sredstvo ATH: Local anesthetics for external application Pharmacodynamics : Combined preparation for external use. It has a local anesthetic effect. Menthol, when applied to the skin and mucous membranes, causes irritation of nerve endings, dilates the surface vessels of the skin, causing a feeling of coolness, accompanied by an analgesic effect and thereby enhances the anesthetic effect of novocaine and anesthesin; relieves itching.

Indications

Neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia and itchy dermatoses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, violation of the skin at the site of application.

Side effects

With prolonged use – dizziness, general weakness, low blood pressure.

In these cases, stop using the drug.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Externally, rubbing painful areas of the skin 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment continues depending on the therapeutic effect, but not more than 3-4 weeks. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

Solution for external use of alcohol.

Storage conditions

In a place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf

life is 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
