Composition
Shepherd’s bag grass contains: Vitamin K (phylloquinone); Ascorbic acid; Carotenoids; Tannins;Saponins; Organic acids;Choline.
Pharmacological action
Infusion of shepherd’s bag grass has a hemostatic effect, increases the contractility of the smooth muscles of the uterus.
Indications
- In complex therapy for heavy menstrual bleeding;
- Minor bleeding during the post-coagulation period of treatment of the cervix.
Recommendations for use
About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of crushed raw materials are placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml. Take inside 1 tablespoon 3 times a day 30 minutes after meals. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug;
- Pregnancy.
With caution:
- With increased blood clotting;
- Thromboembolism (in the anamnesis);
- During lactation.

Possible allergic reactions. With prolonged use-increased blood clotting, reduced blood pressure.
Description
Pieces of leaves, stems and inflorescences of various shapes, individual flowers and fruits. The color of the stems, leaves and fruits is green, the flowers are whitish. The smell is faint. The taste of water extraction is bitter.
Special instructions
Use with caution in case of increased blood clotting, thromboembolism (in the anamnesis), during lactation.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, protected from light. The prepared solution should be stored in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
