Indications

Elimination of nasal congestion of various origins and relief of nasal breathing in inflammatory diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx, including allergic nature:

• acute and chronic rhinitis
• acute and chronic sinusitis
• nasopharyngitis
• allergic rhinitis
• adenoiditis.

Recommendations for use

Intranasally. Children from 2 years of age and adults 1-2 injections in each nostril 2-3 times a day, if necessary, you can use more often. The course of application is not limited.

• •Seawater, which is part of the solution, contains Cl-, Na+, SO4 2-, Mg2+, Ca2+, K+, HCO3 -, Br-ions, as well as microelements Zn, Se, I, etc.
• Hypertonic seawater solution has an increased content of sodium chloride (NaCl) 17-23 g/l. Aqua Maris® Extra strong is used for inflammatory diseases of the nose, sinuses and nasopharynx to eliminate mucosal edema and nasal congestion and facilitate nasal breathing as a “natural decongestant”.
• Hypertonic seawater solution reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa by removing excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.
• Thanks to the increased pressure in the cylinder and the special design of the nozzle, the Aqua Maris®solution jet Extra strong removes viruses, bacteria, allergens and foreign particles from the nasal mucosa. Aqua Maris® Extra strong promotes the destruction and death of microbial cells. Microelements of the Adriatic Sea water improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have a stimulating, restorative, cleansing, anti-inflammatory effect on the nasal mucosa, increase its resistance to the introduction of pathogenic microorganisms. Calcium and magnesium ions stimulate the movement of” ciliated cells ” of the mucous membrane, which help to remove microorganisms and foreign particles from the nasal cavity and normalize the rheological properties of mucus. Iodine, sodium ions and chloride ions have an antiseptic effect, and also activate the production of protective mucus. Zinc and selenium ions stimulate local immunity of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses. Calcium ions have an anti-allergic effect.
