Indications

The Aqua Maris® Watering Can nasal washing device provides effective and gentle release of nasopharynx from mucus and foreign particles and is recommended for use:

• for acute and chronic rhinitis

• for acute respiratory

viral infections• for allergic rhinitis

• for acute and chronic sinusitis, frontitis, etmoiditis

• for adenoiditis

• for increased dryness of the nasal mucosa and crusting

* for frequently ill patients

• after surgery on the nasal cavity (on the recommendation of a doctor).

Recommendations for use

Cut the bag and pour the sea salt into the device.

Fill the device with boiled water of body temperature up to the mark and mix until the salt is completely dissolved.

Take a comfortable position in front of the sink. Tilt your head forward and turn it slightly to the side.

Take a deep breath and hold it. Apply the tip of the device to the upper nostril so that it is firmly pressed against it.

Tilt the device so that the solution begins to flow from the tip of the device into the nasal passage. The solution will flow out of the opposite nostril.

To remove the remaining solution from your nose, blow your nose without changing the position of your head.

Then blow your nose in a straight position.

Repeat the procedure with the other nostril.

After use, rinse the device with cool water and dry it well. A solution of sea salt is recommended to be used daily.

The Aqua Maris ® Watering Can device is a 330 ml plastic container for preparing a nasal wash solution in a set with Aqua Maris® washing agent in the form of 30 sachets with Adriatic Sea salt. 1 sachet contains 2.97 g of sea salt.

The Aqua Maris ® otorhinolaryngological watering device allows you to conveniently and safely flush the nose along the entire length of the nasal passages.

Flushing fluid is supplied to the nasal cavity by gravity, i. e. without additional pressure, which avoids such complications as middle ear inflammation (otitis media).

The procedure is simple and safe even for children, pregnant and lactating women.

When washing the nasal cavity with the Aqua Maris ® Watering can device, the pathological contents along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust are removed from the surface of the nasal mucosa, swelling and inflammation are reduced, and capillary tone is increased.
