Composition

Nasal spray.

Sterile hypertonic solution of Adriatic Sea water-100%.

It does not contain preservatives.

Presence of ions:

Sodium (Na+) – not less than 7.50 mg / ml;

Calcium (Ca2+) – not less than 0.25 mg/ml;

Potassium (K+) – not less than 0.20 mg / ml;

Magnesium (Mg2+) – not less than 1.00 mg / ml;

Chlorides (Cl) – not less than 16.50 mg / ml;

Sulfates (SO4 2 -) – not less than 1.80 mg/ml;

Bicarbonates (HCO3 ) – not less than 0.10 mg / ml.

Bromides (Br) – not less than 0.04 mg / ml.

30 ml of the drug in a dark-colored glass bottle equipped with a spray device and a protective cap made of propylene.

One bottle together with the instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Aqua Maris® Strong is a hypertonic sterile solution of seawater. Hypertonic solution reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa by removing excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.

It is used for inflammatory diseases of the nose, sinuses and nasopharynx to eliminate mucosal edema, as a “natural decongestant”. It has an antibacterial effect.

Aqua Maris® Strong cleans viruses and bacteria from the nasal mucosa, promotes local immunity, and has a local anti-inflammatory effect.

The microelements included in the preparation improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Indications

Aqua Maris® Strong is shown:

to eliminate edema of the nasal mucosa, especially for people suffering from hypersensitivity to chemical drugs, including pregnant women and during lactation;

for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx – such as:

– acute and chronic rhinitis;

– acute and chronic sinusitis–

– nasopharyngitis–

– acute and chronic sinusitis

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy and breast-feeding are not contraindications for use.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects

A feeling of discomfort in the nasal cavity at the beginning of the reception.

Interaction

Since the drug does not have a systemic effect on the body, interactions with other drugs were not noted.

It can be used with other medications used to treat the common cold.

How to take, course of use and dosage

for children from 1 year and adults 1-2 injections in each nostril 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported.

Special instructions

Use with caution in case of frequent nosebleeds.

ABILITY TO INFLUENCE THE REACTION RATE WHEN DRIVING VEHICLES OR WORKING WITH OTHER MECHANISMS

Aqua Maris® Strong does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.
