Composition

One suppository contains: Active ingredient: lactic acid-100 mg; excipients: a mixture of macrogols: macrogol 1500 — (92-98)%, macrogol 400 — (8-2)%.

Pharmacological action

Lactic acid is a natural product of the vital activity of lactic acid bacteria of the vagina, provides a pH of vaginal secretions in the range of 3.5-4.5.

Suppositories with lactic acid help restore and maintain normal pH and vaginal flora, inhibit the growth of acid-sensitive pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic flora.

Lactic acid creates an acid reserve to correct the pH shift to the alkaline side observed in vaginal infections. Increases the natural protection of the vagina from genital infections.

Indications

Normalization of disturbed microflora and pH of the vagina, including bacterial vaginosis (as part of complex therapy).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated, as clinical studies in pregnant women have not been conducted.

There is no information about penetration into breast milk.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components of Femilex,

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions, itching, in some cases — burning in the vagina, passing after discontinuation of the drug. How to take, course of use and dosage

Intravaginally. Before use, the suppository is released from the contour packaging. One vaginal suppository is inserted into the vagina (lying on your back with your legs slightly bent) once a day.

The course of treatment is 10 days.

Use the drug only according to the indications, the method of use and in the doses indicated in the instructions.
