Recommendations for use

1) Check for lice and nits

Check for lice and nits in all family members using the special comb that is included in the kit. All family members who have lice should be treated on the same day to avoid re-infection.

• It is better to carry out the test on dry hair in good light.

• First brush your hair, then check for lice and nits strand by strand.

• Carefully examine the hair roots in the areas where lice and nits are most often located-behind the ears and in the lower part of the nape of the neck.

• After each application, wash the comb thoroughly to avoid contamination.

2) Apply Paranit shampoo

Apply the required amount of Paranit Shampoo to dry hair. Apply Paranit Shampoo to the entire length of your hair from root to tip.

Make sure that Paranit Shampoo is applied evenly to the scalp and to the entire length of the hair. Massage your hair and scalp, especially in the areas behind your ears and at the back of your head. Leave Paranit shampoo on your hair for 10 minutes. This time is enough to kill lice and nits.

A bottle of the product can be used for up to 8 treatments, depending on the degree of insect infestation, length and density of hair.

3) Add water and wash your hair.

After 10 minutes, add the required amount of water to your hair and lather. Wash off the foam thoroughly with water and rinse your hair. Make sure that the product is completely washed off your hair and scalp.

4) Remove lice and nits

Before drying your hair, remove lice and nits with a special comb, which is included in the package of Paranit shampoo.

5) Repeat the treatment after 7 days

Reapply Paranit Shampoo after 7 days, repeating steps 1-4.

Repeating the procedure guarantees the effectiveness of the treatment. Even if nits accidentally remain on the head after the first treatment, if the treatment procedure is repeated, lice hatched from the remaining nits will be destroyed before they have time to lay new nits.

Perform a pest control

Lice can remain alive outside a person’s body for 1-3 days. Therefore, to prevent re-infection, it is necessary to wash clothes, bed linen and towels in hot water at a temperature not lower than +60°C, wash objects (brushes, combs, hairpins, etc. ) that were in direct contact with the head.

Special instructions

After eliminating lice and nits, there is a risk of re-infection from other people (for example, at school). If this happens, it is recommended to use Paranit shampoo again. With repeated use, the effectiveness of Paranit shampoo remains the same high. Since Paranit shampoo has a non-chemical mode of action, therefore lice do not develop resistance to Paranit shampoo even with repeated use.
