Phenazepam was developed in 70s by soviet scientists and remains today as one of the most powerful tranquilizers. Phenazepam has tranquillizing effects and effectively relieves anxiety, emotional stress and panic.
Active component: Bromdihydrochlorphenylbenzodiazepine.
Phenazepam is an anxiolytic medication of benzodiazepine category. It provides sedating, muscle relaxant and anticonvulsant effects. It is used to relieve fear and stress.
Uses:
- Irritation, anxiety, nervousness, emotional lability
- Insomnia, withdrawal syndrome
- Epilepsy, temporal lobe and myoclonic epilepsy
- Schizophrenia with hyper sensitivity to antipsychotic medication
- Muscle rigidity, athetosis, hypekinesis, habit contraction, vegetative lability
Directions:
Phenazepam is issued in tablets and injections.
- To relive fear, anxiety, vegetative paroxysms: primary injection 0.5-1mg (0.5-1ml of 0.1% solution),
- Average daily dosage is 3.5 mg, in cases of severe conditions – up to 7.9mg.
- To treat alcohol withdrawal syndrome: inject intramuscular 0.5mg 1-2 times a day.
- To treat vegetative spasms: inject intramuscular 0.5-1mg. Daily dosage is 1.5-5mg divided in 2-3 intakes (0.5-1mg in the morning and in the afternoon, 2.5 mg before sleep)
- Tablets are taken to treat sleeping disorder: take 0.25-0.5 mg 20-30 minutes before sleep.
- To treat neurotic, psychopathic and similar conditions: first dosage is 0.5-1mg 2-3 times a day. After 2-4 days, the dosage may be increased up to4-6mg per day. Ask a doctor.
- To treat fear, anxiety: take 3mg a day, increasing the dosage to receive positive effect.
- To treat epilepsy: take 2-10mg a day.
- To treat alcohol withdrawal syndrome: take 2-5mg a day.
- To treat muscle hyper tension: take 2-3mg 1-2 times a day. Maximum daily dosage is 10 mg.
- Note: to avoid habit-forming effect, take Phenazepam no longer than during 2 weeks.
