Composition

Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmethacresol 0.6 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 10 mg; Excipients: tartaric acid 26 mg, sodium saccharinate 2.08 mg, levomentol 2.08 mg, peppermint leaf oil 2.08 mg, anise seed oil 0.52 mg, quinoline yellow dye 0.0046 mg, indigo carmine 0.0156 mg, sucrose liquid 1523.4 mg, dextrose liquid [dextrose, oligo-and polysaccharides] 980.9 mg

Thanks to the convenient dosage form in the form of resorption tablets, it easily gets into the focus of inflammation, even in those areas that are difficult to reach during gargling or when using a spray. The dose of lidocaine was carefully selected in such a way as to provide a local anesthetic and decongestant effect. Antiseptic drug, active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, has a local anesthetic and decongestant effect, has an antifungal effect.

Indications

It has an antiseptic effect in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components of Strepsils Express;
• children’s age (up to 12 years)

How to take, course of use and dosage

Locally. Adults and children over 12 years of age – every 2-3 hours to dissolve 1 tablet of Strepsils Express. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.

Special instructions

When prescribing to patients with concomitant diabetes, it should be taken into account that 1 tablet contains 2.6 mg of sugar.
