Composition

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic medicine is a sterile solution containing sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, polyethylene glycol 400 0.4%, propylene glycol 0.3%, hydroxypropyl guar 0.175%, sorbitol 1.4%, aminomethylpropanol 0.27%, boric acid 0.18%, sodium borate 0.262%, disodium EDTA 0.025%, sodium citrate 0.6%, potassium chloride 0.12%, sodium chloride 0.07% and POLYQUAD® preservative (polydronium chloride) 0.001%, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (to adjust the pH), purified water (to a volume of 100%).

Action

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic medicine is a combination of two polymers – hydroxypropyl guar and hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound present in the human body; it acts as a moisturizing agent and promotes cell proliferation. Viscoelastic properties of hyaluronic acid, similar to the tear film, and the ability to bind water molecules create conditions for the restoration of damaged cells of the eye surface. Hydroxypropyl guar is a high-molecular polymer that forms a gel-like liquid “patch” on the eye surface and protects cells from drying out. The combination of hyaluronic acid and hydroxypropyl guar, which is part of the ophthalmic SYSTEM ULTRA PLUS, attaches to damaged cells of the eye surface, providing increased hydration and lubrication in comparison with hyaluronic acid alone.

Indications

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS provides temporary relief of the symptoms of dry eye syndrome, such as burning sensation and irritation. SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic product can be used to lubricate and moisten silicone-hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses of daytime and extended wear modes.

Recommendations for use

Shake the bottle before use!Drop 1-2 drops in each eye as needed and blink. When wearing contact lenses, if you feel a slight irritation, discomfort or blurred vision, drop 1-2 drops on the lens and blink 2-3 times. SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic medicine can be used throughout the day as needed to relieve the symptoms of dry eye syndrome. Not addictive!

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Description

It provides comfort and protects the eyes from dryness, irritation, burning sensation, foreign body or sand sensation caused by dust, smoke, UV rays, dry heat (radiator, sauna), air conditioning, wind, cosmetics, flickering of a long-running TV or computer monitor.

Special instructions

Follow the recommendations of your ophthalmologist and the instructions for use. If you experience persistent discomfort, excessive lacrimation, vision changes, or redness in your eyes, stop using SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS and consult your doctor. SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS is not intended for cleaning and / or disinfecting contact lenses. PRECAUTIONS Do not touch the tip of the spout of the bottle, as this may cause contamination of the solution. Close the bottle after each use. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not use the solution after the expiration date indicated on the package. CONTROL OF THE FIRST AUTOPSY: Do not use the solution if the protective ring or cap is damaged or missing. Do not use the solution if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use the solution for more than 3 months after the first opening of the bottle. Keep out of reach of children. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

Form of production

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic medicine is available in 4-15 ml bottles. Vials together with the instructions are placed in a cardboard box.

Storage conditions

At room temperature (from +2°C to +30°C).

life For all sizes of vials listed below, the expiration date is as follows: :

• 12 months for a 4 ml bottle containing 1.5 ml of the drug
• 12 months for an 8 ml bottle containing 3 ml of the drug
• 24 months for an 8 ml bottle containing 5 ml of the drug
• 24 months for a 10 ml bottle containing 10 ml of the drug

The solution in the bottle after opening should be used within 3 months,3 months after opening the bottle.
