Indications

Aqua Maris® cleanser provides an effective and gentle release of mucus and foreign particles from the nasopharynx and is recommended for use:

• in acute and chronic rhinitis

• , acute respiratory

• viral infections, allergic rhinitis

• , acute and chronic sinusitis, frontitis, etmoiditis

• , adenoiditis

• , with increased dryness of the nasal mucosa and crusting

• of frequently ill patients

• after surgery on the nasal cavity (on the recommendation of a doctor).

Recommendations for use

A solution of sea salt is recommended to be used daily.

Contraindications

Acute otitis and exacerbation of chronic otitis, individual intolerance to the components of the detergent, frequent nosebleeds, benign and malignant neoplasms in the nasal cavity, complete obstruction of the nasal passages, children under 3 years of age.

Description

Aqua Maris ® cleanser is a 30 sachet solution containing Adriatic Sea salt, rich in beneficial trace elements and minerals. The product is used in conjunction with the Aqua Maris® Watering Device.

1 sachet contains 2.97 g of sea salt. When washing the nasal cavity with Aqua Maris® washing agent, the pathological contents along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust are removed from the surface of the mucous membrane, swelling and inflammation are reduced, and capillary tone is increased.

The mucous membrane has a beneficial effect of useful trace elements and salts of the Adriatic Sea:

• calcium and magnesium ions significantly improve the work of ciliated epithelial cells, normalize the rheological properties of mucus, increase the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of viruses and bacteria

• iodine and sodium chloride have an antiseptic effect, and also activate the production of protective mucus

• zinc and selenium ions stimulate local immunity of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses.
