Ascoril is a combined drug with bronchodilator and expectorant action.
Salbutamol is a selective beta-2-adrenergic receptor agonist, has a bronchodilatory effect, relieves bronchospasm.
Bromhexinee has a mucolytic effect. Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions by depolarizing acidic polysaccharides and stimulating secretory cells of the bronchial mucosa.
Guaifenesin reduces the surface tension and adhesive properties of sputum, promotes its expectoration.

Tachycardia; cardiac arrhythmias; hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Rare: hand tremor, tachycardia, muscle cramps.
When used in high doses – tachycardia, headache, peripheral vasodilation.
Other beta-2-adrenomimetic agents and theophylline enhance the effect of salbutamol and increase the likelihood of side effects.
Ascoril is not prescribed simultaneously with drugs containing codeine and other antitussive agents, as this makes it difficult to remove liquefied sputum.
Ascoryl Bromhexinee, which is part of the drug, promotes the penetration of antibiotics (erythromycin, cephalexin, oxytetracycline) into the lung tissue.
It is not recommended to use Ascoril concomitantly with non-selective beta – blockers, such as propranolol.
Ascoril salbutamol is not recommended for patients receiving MAO inhibitors.
Diuretics and corticosteroids enhance the hypokalemic effect of salbutamol.
It is not recommended to take an alkaline drink at the same time as Ascoril.
