Pharmacological Action
Actinolizat acts on the immune system through specific intracellular receptors of immunocompetent cells, stimulates the production of antibodies to various infectious agents, destroys actinomycetes, increases the body’s resistance, exerts an anti-inflammatory effect, enhances appetite, relieves fatigue, and promotes general activity.
Indications
This immunostimulating agent is indicated for the treatment of specific infectious diseases caused by actinomycetes.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Administer the solution by intramuscular injection only. For adults, the dose is 3 mL administered twice per week.
For pediatric patients, calculate the dose by body weight for children under 3 years (0.1 mL/kg). Administer 2 mL per injection for children aged 3 to 14 years and 3 mL per injection for those over 14 years.
The standard treatment course consists of 20 to 30 injections. Maintain an interval of one month between treatment courses.
To prevent disease recurrence, initiate a preventive therapy course of 15 injections one month after clinical recovery.
Adverse Reactions
Monitor for signs of hypersensitivity during and after administration. The most frequently reported adverse effects are skin allergic reactions.
Local reactions at the injection site are also possible. Discontinue use immediately if a severe allergic reaction occurs.
Contraindications
Do not administer this medication to patients with known conditions that preclude its safe use.
- Malignant neoplasms.
- Acute infectious diseases.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with other immunostimulating agents is not recommended due to the potential for additive or synergistic effects on the immune system.
Exercise caution when administering with other intramuscular injections to avoid excessive local irritation. No other specific, well-documented drug interactions are currently known.
Overdose
No specific antidote for overdose is known. In the event of a suspected overdose, discontinue the medication immediately.
Provide symptomatic and supportive care. Monitor the patient closely for signs of a severe systemic inflammatory or allergic reaction and manage accordingly.
Pediatric Use
Use is possible according to the dosing regimen.
Special Precautions
Complex treatment of actinomycosis includes antibacterial therapy, general strengthening and symptomatic agents.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 8°C (46°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
