Pharmacological Action

Effectively moisturizes the nasal mucosa, thins thick mucus, softens dry crusts in the nose, and facilitates their easy removal.

The pH of the solution is close to the pH of the natural secretory fluid of the nasal mucosa.

Indications

  • For hygienic care of the nasal cavity in infants.
  • For cleansing the nasal cavity of mucus and crusts in children and adults with dry nasal mucosa.
  • For use in rhinitis of various etiologies, including acute nasopharyngitis, allergic rhinitis (due to pollen and perennial), and chronic rhinitis.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. Administer the spray intranasally three to four times per day as needed for nasal hygiene and symptom relief.

The recommended course for both prevention and treatment is typically two to four weeks.

For young children, ensure an age-appropriate dosage form is used; this specific spray may not be suitable.

Adverse Reactions

Local irritation or a burning sensation in the nasal cavity may occur immediately after application.

Allergic reactions, though rare, are possible and may include skin rash, itching, or redness.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if any severe or persistent adverse reactions develop.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to sodium chloride or any other component of the formulation.
  • Do not use in patients with a known history of severe allergic reactions to the product.

Special Precautions
