Pharmacological Action

Arsenious anhydride is a white crystalline powder, slightly soluble, with a sour taste.

Arsenicum album acts on the nervous and cardiovascular systems, lymphatic vessels, mucous, serous and synovial membranes, muscle tissue, and skin.

Indications

  • Acute rhinosinusitis, with or without fever, accompanied by rhinorrhea with characteristic symptoms;
  • Acute otalgia, middle ear otitis with characteristic symptoms.

Dermatology

  • Acute skin diseases of an infectious or inflammatory nature, possessing local or general characteristics of the drug – herpes zoster, boils, carbuncles, erysipelas, urticaria, acute dermatitis.

  • Acute febrile syndrome worsening at night, characterized by alternating phases of excitation and phases of asthenia, sensitivity to cold and characteristic thirst.

  • Pain, acute neuralgia, which improves with the application of heat.

  • Acute cystitis, nephritis (as an addition to appropriate antibacterial therapy), proteinuria.

Dosage Regimen

The granules should be dissolved in the mouth 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals.

For children from 0 to 3 years old, the granules are first diluted by shaking in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 granules.
