Pharmacological Action

Arsenious anhydride is a white crystalline powder, slightly soluble, with a sour taste.

Arsenicum album acts on the nervous and cardiovascular systems, lymphatic vessels, mucous, serous and synovial membranes, muscle tissue, and skin.

Indications

Indications for acute pathology

Gastroenterology

• Acute gastroenteritis, with or without fever, with foul-smelling stools causing excoriation and burning, as well as impaired general condition;
• Food intoxication;
• Acute hepatitis.

Otorhinolaryngology

• Acute rhinosinusitis, with or without fever, accompanied by rhinorrhea with characteristic symptoms;
• Acute otalgia, middle ear otitis with characteristic symptoms.

Dermatology

• Acute skin diseases of an infectious or inflammatory nature, possessing local or general characteristics of the drug – herpes zoster, boils, carbuncles, erysipelas, urticaria, acute dermatitis.

Infectious Diseases

• Acute febrile syndrome worsening at night, characterized by alternating phases of excitation and phases of asthenia, sensitivity to cold and characteristic thirst.

Neurology

• Pain, acute neuralgia, which improves with the application of heat.

Urology

• Acute cystitis, nephritis (as an addition to appropriate antibacterial therapy), proteinuria.

Gynecology

• Metritis, vaginitis (in addition to appropriate antibacterial therapy).

• Chronic rhinosinusitis, seasonal or perennial, inflammatory or infectious;
• Recurrent otitis, chronic otorrhea.

• Prevention of pressure sores.

Pulmonology

• Asthma.

• Chronic gastritis, recurrent gastric and duodenal ulcer;

Dosage Regimen

Sublingually.

The granules should be dissolved in the mouth 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals.

For children from 0 to 3 years old, the granules are first diluted by shaking in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 granules.

Consultation with a doctor is necessary to determine the potency, frequency and duration of administration.
