Pharmacological Action
Homeopathic preparations contain active substances of mineral, plant, and animal origin in ultra-low doses, or potentiated (i.e., in homeopathic preparation) allopathic medicinal substances.
Homeopathic preparations are manufactured using a special technology.
Homeopathic preparations do not possess bactericidal, bacteriostatic, or antitoxic properties and act only on the macroorganism, restoring its homeostasis, which has been disrupted by the pathological process.
The similarity rule is a mandatory and necessary law of homeopathy. The use of ultra-low doses is a practical consequence of similarity.
When the active substance contained in a homeopathic preparation enters the body, not all its organs and tissues react equally to this substance, but only those that have a special selective affinity for it. Based on significant clinical experience, it is believed that there is a similarity of pathomorphological and pathophysiological reactions. Each medicinal substance manifests its specific properties mainly in those organs and systems that lie within the sphere of its physiological action.
Indications
As recommended by a homeopathic physician – in accordance with the instructions for medical use of the specific homeopathic preparation.
Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Granules
The specific homeopathic preparation and its exact dose are always determined strictly individually.
General rule: for acute pathological conditions, low decimal potencies are used; for chronic diseases and in children, higher (centesimal and millesimal) potencies are used.
In acute diseases, when low potencies are used, the homeopathic preparation can be applied every 5-10 minutes and 3-4 times a day, depending on the specific disease.
In chronic diseases, the frequency of administration can range from 3-4 times a day to 1-2 times a week and even less frequently, when using very high potencies.
The simultaneous use of two or more homeopathic preparations or a complex preparation is possible only as prescribed by a homeopathic physician.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions to the auxiliary components of the drug’s dosage form cannot be ruled out.
Contraindications
Individual sensitivity to the active substance and auxiliary substances of the used preparation.
Special Precautions
Established individually by a homeopathic physician.
If there is no therapeutic effect within 3 days, as well as if adverse reactions occur, you should consult a doctor.
