Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. Administer orally. The standard dosage for adults is 15-20 drops, taken 1-2 times per day.
Administer the drops with a small amount of water. The duration of therapy is determined by the physician based on the clinical response and tolerability.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, and urticaria, may occur.
Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if any signs of hypersensitivity appear. The frequency of these adverse reactions is not known.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with other cardiac glycosides increases the risk of additive cardiotoxic effects and toxicity.
Concurrent use with CNS depressants, including alcohol, barbiturates, and other sedatives, may potentiate the sedative effect. Monitor patients closely.
Consult a physician or pharmacist before taking any other medications.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to Adonis vernalis, hawthorn, valerian, yellowwort, camphor, sodium bromide, or any other component of the formulation.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, severe bradycardia, and cardiac arrhythmias due to the cardiac glycoside content.
In case of suspected overdose, discontinue the medication immediately and seek urgent medical attention. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive; gastric lavage may be indicated.
Storage Conditions
Store at 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
