Pharmacological Action
An agent of plant origin. The pharmacological activity of rose hips is determined mainly by a complex of vitamins (B vitamins, vitamin E, vitamin P, beta-carotene) and, primarily, ascorbic acid.
It stimulates the body’s nonspecific resistance, enhances tissue regeneration and hormone synthesis, reduces vascular permeability, participates in carbohydrate metabolism, and has anti-inflammatory properties. It has a choleretic effect.
Indications
- For the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis C and P.
- As part of complex therapy for: biliary dyskinesia of the hypomotor type, chronic hepatitis, hepatocholecystitis, and non-calculous cholecystitis.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Prepare the infusion using 10 g of raw material per 200 ml of water.
Administer the prepared infusion orally.
Take 1/4 to 1/2 cup two to three times daily.
Adhere to the two to three times daily frequency for consistent therapeutic effect.
Use a standard measuring cup for accurate dose administration.
Store the prepared infusion in a cool place and use within 2 days.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
For treatment of hypovitaminosis, follow the specified regimen.
In cases of biliary dyskinesia or chronic hepatitis, use as part of complex therapy.
Consult a physician for use beyond 2 weeks.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions are possible. Monitor for signs of hypersensitivity such as rash, itching, or urticaria.
Discontinue use immediately upon the appearance of any adverse reactions.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to rose hips or any component of the formulation.
- Patients with diagnosed cholelithiasis.
- Children under 12 years of age, depending on the specific dosage form used.
Pediatric Use
It can be used in children according to indications, in age-appropriate recommended doses and dosage forms. It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions in the rose hip drug leaflets regarding contraindications for the use of specific rose hip dosage forms in children of different ages.
Special Precautions
The prepared infusion should be stored in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
