Properties
The basis of the Cofanol Plus dietary supplement is essential oils of plants (eucalyptus, mint, pine, anise), which have bactericidal and vasoconstrictive effects.
Menthol, which is part of peppermint essential oil and introduced into the supplement as a separate ingredient, has, along with a vasoconstrictive effect, a mild local analgesic effect.
Isovaleric acid, which is part of mint and eucalyptus essential oils, contributes to a calming and cough reflex-reducing effect.
Glycyrrhizic acid contained in licorice roots and anise essential oils contribute to enhanced liquefaction of mucous secretions.
Red pepper essential oil included in the supplement promotes improved digestion.
Licorice is a plant from the legume family. Licorice root contains glycyrrhizin and mannitol, essential oils, alkaloids, etc. It has antiseptic, immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, antitoxic, antispasmodic, calming, expectorant effects.
Menthol is a volatile oil that relieves irritation and has antiseptic, vasoconstrictive, local analgesic, and calming effects.
Eucalyptus oil is a volatile substance, a colorless or pale yellow liquid. It has expectorant, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory effects in various respiratory diseases.
Anise oil is a mild expectorant. It has an antiseptic effect.
