Pharmacological Action
A combined contraceptive drug for local action. It also has an antiseptic effect.
Indications
Use this product for the prevention of pregnancy as a vaginal spermicidal agent.
- Employ as a primary method of contraception.
- Use as a supplementary method to enhance the reliability of barrier contraceptives such as condoms or diaphragms.

Dosage Regimen

Administer one suppository deeply into the vagina at least 15 minutes before each sexual intercourse to allow for proper dispersion.
Insert a new suppository for every subsequent act of intercourse. The spermicidal effect is not permanent and diminishes over time.
Adverse Reactions
Be aware of potential local reactions at the application site, including itching, burning, redness, or swelling of the vaginal mucosa and vulva.
Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if you experience signs of a local allergic reaction or if symptoms persist or worsen.
Drug Interactions
No specific drug interactions with systemic medications have been formally established for this topical vaginal product.
Avoid concurrent intravaginal use with other topical vaginal preparations, such as creams, gels, or other suppositories, as they may interfere with the distribution and spermicidal efficacy of the product.
Contraindications
Do not use this product under the following conditions.
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the active substances (oxyquinoline sulfate, boric acid, tannic acid) or any other component of the suppository.
- The presence of acute or chronic inflammatory diseases of the vagina and cervix, or any signs of genital tissue erosion or damage.
- Use is prohibited in cases of suspected pregnancy or during confirmed pregnancy.
Overdose
Overdose from vaginal use is unlikely; however, excessive or very frequent application may increase the risk and severity of local adverse reactions, such as intense irritation or chemical burns to the vaginal mucosa.
In case of accidental ingestion, which is particularly dangerous due to the high toxicity of boric acid when absorbed systemically, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of boric acid poisoning may include abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, headache, and in severe cases, seizures and kidney failure.
Storage Conditions
In a dry place protected from light and out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 20°C (68°F).

Shelf life – 3 years.
