Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer one suppository deeply into the vagina at least 15 minutes before each sexual intercourse to allow for proper dispersion.

Insert a new suppository for every subsequent act of intercourse. The spermicidal effect is not permanent and diminishes over time.

Adverse Reactions

Be aware of potential local reactions at the application site, including itching, burning, redness, or swelling of the vaginal mucosa and vulva.

Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if you experience signs of a local allergic reaction or if symptoms persist or worsen.

Drug Interactions

No specific drug interactions with systemic medications have been formally established for this topical vaginal product.

Avoid concurrent intravaginal use with other topical vaginal preparations, such as creams, gels, or other suppositories, as they may interfere with the distribution and spermicidal efficacy of the product.

Contraindications

Do not use this product under the following conditions.

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the active substances (oxyquinoline sulfate, boric acid, tannic acid) or any other component of the suppository.
  • The presence of acute or chronic inflammatory diseases of the vagina and cervix, or any signs of genital tissue erosion or damage.
