Dietary supplement for strengthening bone tissue and preventing osteoporosis

Properties

Dicappa 2 is a dietary supplement, a vitamin complex for improving metabolic processes in bone tissue.

The optimal combination of vitamins K2 and D3 contained in the preparation ensures bone mineralization and is recommended primarily for the prevention of osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is a process of demineralization (rarefaction) of bone tissue, in which its mass and strength decrease, resulting in an increased risk of bone fractures. The high-risk group includes postmenopausal women and men over 60 years of age. Other predisposing factors are smoking, heredity, insufficient body weight, use of corticosteroids and thyroid hormones, a diet deficient in calcium, and vitamin D deficiency.

The importance of vitamin K2 for normal metabolism is due to its fundamental role in bone tissue mineralization. Studies have proven that vitamin K2 promotes the activation of osteocalcin, a protein that is the basis of bone strength.

The main functions of vitamin D3 are associated with maintaining calcium and phosphorus homeostasis and carrying out bone tissue mineralization processes. A deficiency of vitamin D3 leads to disruption of calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the bones, increased demineralization of bone tissue, increased fragility, and the development of osteoporosis.

The synergistic effect of the components of Dicappa 2 on bone tissue prevents the risk of occurrence and development of osteoporosis.

Dicappa 2 can be used in combination with drug therapy for osteoporosis, as well as in all other cases of deficiency of vitamins K2 and D3.
