Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer topically into the nasal passages. For adults, instill 2-3 drops into each nostril; alternatively, apply the drops to a cotton swab first and then use it in the nasal cavity.

For children, instill 1-2 drops into each nasal passage. Use this regimen 3-4 times per day, regardless of age group.

The recommended treatment course is 7-10 days. Do not exceed the stated duration without consulting a physician.

Adverse Reactions

Local adverse reactions are possible at the application site. These may include transient sensations of burning or itching of the skin or nasal mucosa.

Allergic reactions of varying severity may occur. Other local effects can include hyperemia (redness) and swelling of the nasal mucosa. Discontinue use if adverse reactions persist or worsen.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
  • Patients with a diagnosis of allergic rhinitis.
  • Use in children under 2 years of age is contraindicated.

Exercise caution in patients with a history of prior nasal cavity surgery. Medical consultation is required before use in this patient population.

Pediatric Use

Contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.

Special Precautions

Increasing the duration of treatment or conducting repeated courses, as well as using the drug during the period after nasal cavity surgery, requires a doctor’s consultation.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
