Excipients: lactitol – 400 mg, lactose monohydrate – 150 mg, cocoa powder – 98 mg, povidone K-29/32 – 50 mg, hypromellose – 42 mg, stearic acid – 10 mg, sorbitol – to obtain a tablet weighing 1400 mg.

Pharmacological Action

An antiseptic agent for topical use in ENT practice and dentistry.

It has a bacteriostatic effect.

It is active against Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus viridans, and Pneumococcus.

Indications

Prevention and treatment of acute infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and larynx (tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

Prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases after tooth extraction.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer the tablets by slow dissolution in the mouth.

For adults, the standard dosage is 3 to 5 lozenges per day, each containing 10 mg of ambazone.

Divide the total daily dose into individual doses taken at regular intervals.

The typical treatment duration is 3 to 4 days.

For children aged 3 to 7 years, the dosage is 3 lozenges per day.

Ensure the child can safely dissolve the lozenge to prevent a choking hazard.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

After taking a lozenge, refrain from eating or drinking for 3 hours to maximize the local therapeutic effect.

If symptoms persist beyond 4 days, discontinue use and consult a physician.
