Pharmacological Action

Herbal medicine. It has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial action, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and improve sputum discharge.

Indications

As an expectorant in the complex therapy of: inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract accompanied by cough with difficult-to-discharge sputum (including bronchitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis); for acute respiratory diseases accompanied by a dry cough.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer the syrup orally. Shake the bottle well before each use.

Adhere to the following dosing schedule three to four times daily.

For adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older: take 5 ml to 7.5 ml per dose.

For school-age children from 6 to 13 years: take 2.5 ml to 5 ml per dose.

For young children from 2 to 5 years: take 2.5 ml per dose.

Use the measuring cup supplied with the package for accurate dosing.

The standard course of treatment is two to three weeks.

Do not exceed the recommended duration without medical supervision.

Consult a physician to extend treatment or for a repeat course of therapy.

Adverse Reactions

Possible allergic reactions.

Rarely nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Contraindications

Children after acute obstructive laryngitis (croup); bronchial asthma; diabetes mellitus; hereditary fructose intolerance; children under 2 years of age; hypersensitivity to the components of the combination, as well as to drugs containing active substances of plants of the Primulaceae family and the Lamiaceae family.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

It is not recommended to use the drug for pregnant and breastfeeding women (due to insufficient data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients).

Pediatric Use

Contraindicated for use in children after acute obstructive laryngitis (croup) and under the age of 2 years.

Special Precautions

If side effects occur, the patient should stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.

Drug Interactions

Should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs and drugs that reduce sputum formation, as this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
