  • To support the functional state of the nervous system in adults.
  • To help reduce nervous excitability and psycho-emotional stress.
  • To contribute to the improvement of mental performance and cognitive functions, including memory and concentration.
  • To assist in the normalization of sleep and wakefulness cycles.
  • For the support of bone health and calcium-phosphorus metabolism due to the presence of vitamins D3 and K1.

The product is intended for use in adults over 18 years of age. It is not a medicine.

Contraindications

  • Individual intolerance to any of the components of the dietary supplement.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding (due to the lack of sufficient safety data for use during these periods).
  • Patients with severe renal impairment or hypercalcemia (elevated blood calcium levels), given the vitamin D3 content.
  • Patients taking anticoagulant medications (e.g., warfarin) without direct medical supervision, due to the presence of vitamin K1 which can affect coagulation.
  • Children and adolescents under the age of 18.

Before starting use, it is strongly recommended to consult with a healthcare professional, especially in the presence of any chronic diseases or concurrent medication use.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet twice daily with meals. The tablet should be taken orally with a sufficient amount of water.

The duration of use is 30 days. If necessary, the course of use may be repeated. It is advisable to take breaks between courses of use. The decision to repeat the course should be made after consultation with a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Exceeding the dosage does not lead to an enhanced positive effect and may increase the risk of adverse reactions.

Adverse Reactions

Adverse reactions when using Gliricum + Vitamin D3 are rare and usually mild. Allergic reactions are possible, including skin rash, itching, urticaria, and redness of the skin, especially in individuals with known hypersensitivity to the components.

On the part of the gastrointestinal tract, in rare cases, dyspeptic symptoms such as nausea, discomfort in the epigastric region, or flatulence may occur. These symptoms are usually transient and resolve on their own.

Given the composition, with prolonged and uncontrolled use in high doses, symptoms associated with hypervitaminosis D may develop: loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, muscle and joint pain, constipation, dry oral mucosa, polyuria, and general weakness. If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a physician.

Drug Interactions

The components of Gliricum + Vitamin D3 may interact with certain medications. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa, which is used to treat Parkinson’s disease.

Vitamin K1 (phytomenadione) can antagonize the effect of oral anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin), potentially reducing their therapeutic effect and increasing the risk of thrombosis. Concurrent use requires strict medical supervision and possible adjustment of the anticoagulant dose.

Vitamin D3 (colecalciferol) should be used with caution concurrently with thiazide diuretics, as this may increase the risk of hypercalcemia. Concurrent use with cardiac glycosides (e.g., digoxin) may enhance their toxic effect on the heart in case of hypercalcemia. Anticonvulsants (phenobarbital, phenytoin) and corticosteroids may reduce the effects of vitamin D3.

Before using this dietary supplement, inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including prescription, over-the-counter, and other dietary supplements.

Overdose

In case of a single significant overdose, symptoms are most likely to be associated with the vitamin components. Acute overdose of vitamin D3 can lead to hypercalcemia, manifested by thirst, polyuria, anorexia, vomiting, dehydration, and constipation.

In case of suspected overdose, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive; specific antidotes are not available. Gastric lavage and intake of activated charcoal may be recommended if a large number of tablets have been ingested recently.

Chronic overdose resulting from prolonged intake of doses exceeding the recommended daily intake is dangerous. It can lead to the development of chronic hypercalcemia and calcinosis (calcium deposition in tissues and blood vessels). Strictly adhere to the recommended dosage regimen.
