Pharmacological Action
The pharmacological action of the drug is due to the properties of the vitamins, minerals, and trace elements that are part of it. The doses of vitamins and metal ions correspond to the needs of an adult under conditions of increased physical and neuro-emotional stress.
Glutamic acid plays an important role in the metabolism of the muscular and nervous systems. It stimulates redox processes, increases oxygen consumption in tissues, has a beneficial effect in hypoxia, participates in the energy supply of brain functions, and stimulates muscle activity. Under increased physical exertion (including in athletes during intensive training, during competitions, and also in the recovery period), it helps to reduce the level of lactic acid and other under-oxidized metabolic products, increases the activity of a number of enzymes, stimulates muscle activity, and has a beneficial effect on the activity of the central nervous system.
Metal ions are part of many proteins and activate a number of enzyme systems, including the formation of hemoglobin.
Indications
Prescribed as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent for:
- Increased physical exertion;
- During the recovery period after increased physical exertion;
- To accelerate the processes of adaptation to extreme environmental factors.
