Antiseptic

Pharmacological Action

A combined antiseptic agent for topical use. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and local anesthetic effects.

It coagulates the proteins of microbial cells; active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; has an antifungal effect.

It eliminates symptoms of irritation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, has a decongestant effect on the mucous membrane.

It reduces nasal congestion. Soothes throat irritation and pain.

Indications

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, throat, larynx: tonsillitis; pharyngitis; laryngitis (including occupational – in teachers, announcers, workers in the chemical and coal industries); hoarseness; inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums (aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, thrush).

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Dissolve one pastille slowly in the mouth every two hours.

Adhere strictly to a maximum of eight pastilles per 24-hour period.

For children aged five years and older, administer one pastille every four hours.

Ensure the pastille dissolves completely; do not chew or swallow it whole.

Do not exceed the stated maximum daily dose under any circumstances.

Space doses evenly throughout waking hours for consistent symptomatic relief.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if symptoms persist beyond three days.

This regimen is intended for the short-term relief of throat and oral discomfort.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; children under 5 years of age.

Special Precautions

If one or several doses are accidentally missed, the dose should not be increased.
