Dosage Form, Packaging, and Composition

Rectal suppositories white or almost white, or white with a brownish tint, or light brown, or light gray with a brownish tint, or pale yellow, or pale yellowish-brown in color, torpedo-shaped; the appearance of a coating on the surface of the suppository and the presence of an air core on the cut or a funnel-shaped depression at the base are allowed.

Excipients: hard fat – up to a suppository mass of 2250 mg.

Pharmacological Action

A hemostatic drug for topical use. It is a natural polysaccharide obtained from brown seaweed. It has a pronounced hemostatic effect and possesses anti-inflammatory and reparative properties.

  • Anal fissures in the epithelialization stage
  • Chronic bleeding hemorrhoids
  • Proctosigmoiditis
  • Inflammation of the rectum in the postoperative period

Dosage Regimen

Administer one suppository rectally twice daily, typically in the morning and evening.

Adverse Reactions

Contraindications

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Rectal use during pregnancy and lactation is possible as indicated.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
