Pharmacological Action
Herbal medicine. It has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and improve sputum discharge.
Indications
As an expectorant in the complex therapy of: inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract accompanied by cough with difficult-to-discharge sputum (including bronchitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis); for acute respiratory diseases accompanied by a dry cough.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Administer Herbifors syrup orally three to four times daily.
Use the provided dosing spoon or cup for accurate measurement.
For adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older, take 6.5 ml per dose.
For children aged 10 to 14 years, administer 4.5 ml per dose.
For children aged 4 to 9 years, administer 3.0 ml per dose.
For children aged 2 to 3 years, administer 2.0 ml per dose.
The drug is contraindicated for children under 2 years of age.
The standard treatment duration is 2 to 3 weeks.
Do not exceed the recommended duration without medical consultation.
For a repeat treatment course, consult a physician.
If symptoms persist or worsen during therapy, seek medical advice.
Adverse Reactions
Possibleallergic reactions.
Rarelynausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Contraindications
Children after a history of acute obstructive laryngitis (croup); bronchial asthma; diabetes mellitus; hereditary fructose intolerance; children under 2 years of age; hypersensitivity to the components of the combination, as well as to drugs containing active substances of plants of the Primulaceae family and the Lamiaceae family.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women to use the drug (due to insufficient data on the safety of using the drug in this category of patients).
Pediatric Use
Contraindicated for use in children after a history of acute obstructive laryngitis (croup) and under the age of 2 years.
Special Precautions
If side effects occur, the patient should stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.
Drug Interactions
Should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs and drugs that reduce sputum formation, as this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
