Pharmacological Action

A combined herbal preparation. It has a general tonic effect and helps to increase the body’s nonspecific resistance.

Indications

Use this preparation for the following conditions as a general tonic to enhance the body’s nonspecific resistance.

  • Use for asthenic conditions and to increase physical and mental performance.
  • Use during the recovery period after past infectious and other debilitating illnesses.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer orally for adults only. Dilute 25-40 drops in 50-100 ml of water. Take twice daily, in the morning and during the day, 30 minutes before meals.

The standard course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Do not exceed this duration without medical supervision. Increasing the duration or conducting repeated courses requires a recommendation from a doctor.

Adverse Reactions

Monitor for allergic reactions, including skin rash and itching. The preparation may cause increased blood pressure and sleep disorders, such as insomnia.

Discontinue use immediately if any of these or other adverse reactions occur and consult a healthcare professional.

Drug Interactions

Exercise caution due to the high ethanol content of at least 65%. This preparation can potentiate the effects of other CNS depressants, including sedatives, hypnotics, and tranquilizers.

Concurrent use with stimulants may lead to additive effects on blood pressure and the central nervous system. Avoid concomitant use with disulfiram or other drugs causing a disulfiram-like reaction.

Contraindications

Do not use this preparation under the following conditions.

  • Do not use in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, and autoimmune diseases.
  • Do not use with diffuse connective tissue diseases (collagenoses), AIDS, HIV infection, or arterial hypertension.
  • Avoid use during the acute period of infectious diseases, with increased excitability, epilepsy, brain injuries, insomnia, and chronic liver diseases.
  • Do not administer during pregnancy, lactation, or to individuals under 18 years of age. Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to any component or plants of the Asteraceae family.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include a pronounced increase in blood pressure, agitation, headache, and insomnia. In severe cases, cardiac arrhythmias may occur.

In case of overdose, discontinue the drug immediately and initiate symptomatic and supportive treatment. There is no specific antidote. Seek immediate medical attention.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Use in Hepatic Impairment

Contraindicated in chronic liver diseases.

Pediatric Use

Contraindicated in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Special Precautions

The preparation contains at least 65% ethanol.

It is not recommended to take the drug in the evening (to avoid sleep onset disturbances).

Preparations containing echinacea should not be taken for more than 8 weeks.

Storage Conditions

Store the drug in a cool, light-protected place, out of the reach of children.

Shelf Life

Shelf life – 3 years.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
