Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Orally, with a sufficient amount of water.

For therapeutic purposes unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, take 4 measuring spoons (48 pills) 2 times/day, preferably 30-45 minutes after meals.

Attention: after every 10 days of taking the drug, a 1-day break should be taken. The course of treatment is 2-6 months.

The duration of the treatment course is determined by the doctor depending on the severity of the disease symptoms.

For prophylactic purposes take 2 measuring spoons (24 pills) 2 times/day, preferably 30-45 minutes after meals.

Attention: after every 10 days of taking the drug, a 1-day break should be taken. The duration of use is 2 months.

With good tolerance and a pronounced therapeutic effect, the prophylactic course is recommended to be repeated 2 times a year after consultation with a doctor.

Adverse Reactions

Allergic reactions (rash on the face and body like urticaria).

If such effects appear, the drug should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

An increase in the intensity of the pain syndrome in patients with thalamic pain during the first 2-3 weeks of therapy is possible.

In such cases, either reduce the dose or (in case of significant pain) discontinue the drug.

With further use of the drug in lower doses, the intensity of the pain syndrome, as a rule, decreases to the previous level.

Sometimes a feeling of discomfort in the epigastric region occurs (feeling of fullness, early satiety, nausea).

Usually, after reducing the single dose of the drug (and increasing the frequency of administration to 3 times/day), these phenomena stop and do not require the prescription of additional therapy.

The appearance of a feeling of heat and flushing (redness) of the face after taking the drug is sometimes observed during the first 1-2 weeks of therapy and subsequently disappears without any additional therapy.

Contraindications

  • Gastric and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase;
  • Pregnancy;
  • Lactation period;
  • Age under 18 years ;
  • Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as hypersensitivity to bee products.

With caution gastric and duodenal ulcer in remission, epilepsy.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Pediatric Use

Contraindicated in children under 18 years of age.

Special Precautions

Huatuo Pills contain bee honey in an amount of 7% of the mass, which should be taken into account by persons suffering from diabetes mellitus, as well as when on a hypocaloric diet.

One measuring spoon of Huatuo Pills contains 0.17 g of honey, which is equivalent to 0.01 XE (Bread Units).

Huatuo Pills are recommended to be taken separately from other medicines (1 hour before or 1 hour after taking other medicines).

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery

The drug does not reduce the ability to drive vehicles and work with moving machinery.
