Description
A specialized product of dietary therapeutic nutrition for children from birth until they reach a body weight of 9 kg or the age of 18 months. The formula can be used as the sole source of nutrition or as a supplement to the main diet.
The caloric content of the product is 126 kcal/125 ml, which is almost 50% higher than in standard infant formula; the high caloric content and protein calorie content (10.3% of the total formula calories) is optimal for compensating for body weight and growth deficits. The protein composition is close to that of breast milk (60% whey proteins and 40% casein). The prebiotic blend promotes normalization of gastrointestinal function, enhancement of immunity, and reduction in the frequency of infections. The product contains an optimal amount of calcium and vitamin D to support bone tissue growth and development. The improved ratio of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (0.35% omega-6 and 0.35% omega-3 of total fat content) promotes optimal formation and development of vision and the nervous system. The nucleotide level is close to that in breast milk, which has a positive effect on the establishment of the immune response in newborns and also improves growth and development indicators. The lactose content is close to its amount in breast milk, which helps improve the composition of the gut microbiota and calcium absorption.
Scope of Application
Delayed physical development; protein-energy malnutrition; increased nutrient losses associated with critical conditions (trauma, burns), acute and chronic diseases, hypermetabolism; increased nutrient requirements associated with perinatal central nervous system damage, cerebral palsy, congenital heart defects, surgical intervention, acute and chronic diseases; insufficient nutrient intake associated with the child’s inability to cope with the proposed volume of nutrition.
Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
For oral administration or tube feeding. The dose is calculated depending on the child’s age-related energy and protein requirements.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the components of the formula; allergy to cow’s milk protein; lactose intolerance, galactosemia; conditions in which enteral nutrition is impossible.
