The instructions for medical use were approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on 14.01.1999.

Indications

Used in the complex therapy of skin diseases accompanied by itching:

  • Neurodermatitis;
  • Atopic dermatitis;
  • Eczema;
  • Dermatitis and consequences of insect bites.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Ointment

Adults and children over 1 year of age should apply Iricar® ointment to the affected areas of the skin in a thin layer, rubbing gently, 3 times a day.

If there is no therapeutic effect within 2 weeks, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Cream

Adults and children over 1 year of age should apply the cream 3 times a day in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin, rubbing gently.

Due to good tolerability, Iricar® cream can be used for a long time.

Adverse Reactions

In rare cases, allergic skin reactions to the ingredients of the cream base may be observed.

Contraindications

The medicinal product should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the cream base, for example, to benzyl alcohol.

Pediatric Use

Children over one year of age should apply the cream 3 times a day in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin.

Storage Conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F) and not below 0°C (32°F) in a place inaccessible to children.

Shelf Life

The shelf life is 3 years.

After opening the package, store for no more than 6 months.

The medicine should not be used after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Dispensing Status

The drug is approved for use as an over-the-counter product.
