Dietary supplement for reducing the manifestations of menopausal syndrome

Properties

This is a biologically active food supplement for women. It contains a patented lignan formula isolated from the knots of the Norway spruce (Picea Abies), which contain essential oil, tannins, phytoncides, ascorbic acid, and the maximum amount of lignan. This combination has a beneficial effect on the course of menopause, exerting a positive effect on the general condition of the female body during the period of declining function of the reproductive system.

Scientists have established that 7-HMR (7-hydroxymatairesinol) is a new class of lignans with bioavailable phytoestrogen content, possessing the properties of natural hormones. Being precursors to estrogens (enterolactone), lignans are converted by the intestinal microflora into the active form of estradiol.

7-HMR contributes to

• Reducing the frequency and severity of “hot flashes”;
• Reducing the level of irritability and mood swings;
• Decreasing the frequency of headaches;
• Reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases;
• Increasing sexual activity.

As a result of foreign studies, it was found that the use of the lignan 7-HMR in dietetic programs helps protect hormone-dependent cells from growth-stimulating effects, thereby reducing the risk of developing tumors in breast and uterine endometrial tissues.

Lignans contribute to the regulation of plasma cholesterol by increasing high-density lipoproteins (HDL) and decreasing the content of low-density lipoproteins (LDL). This explains its preventive action against the development of atherosclerosis. This scientific statement was published in 2007 in the journal Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Dec. 12 (4).

It should also be noted that 7-HMR strengthens cell structure, increasing their resistance to oxidation by free radicals, thereby slowing aging.

Dosage Regimen

Adults are recommended to take 1 capsule/day after breakfast, with a sufficient amount of water (150-200 ml).

The duration of use is 1 month. If necessary, the course can be repeated.
