Dietary supplement – source of genistein, resveratrol, vitamins K and D

Properties

Menoril® plus is a dietary supplement, is an additional source of vitamins K1 and D3, a source of genistein and resveratrol.

The isoflavone (genistein) included in the composition helps reduce unpleasant manifestations associated with climacteric and menopause; vitamins K1 and D3 have a positive effect on the bone mineralization process in postmenopausal osteoporosis; Resveratrol possesses properties that slow down the process of age-related skin changes.

Isoflavones (genistein) belong to bioflavonoids. These are substances of plant origin or their synthetic analogs that exhibit effects similar to the action of estrogens in the female body, under conditions of insufficient production of the body’s own estrogens.

Isoflavones have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties, and also suppress thrombin formation and platelet aggregation, thereby contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

The use of isoflavones helps reduce the frequency of “hot flashes”, sweating, headaches, and other symptoms observed during menopause.

Resveratrol is a natural phytoalexin. Like all polyphenols, Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant, the activity of which exceeds that of vitamin E.

Resveratrol restores the structure and synthesis of collagen and elastin and slows down the process of wrinkle formation and skin aging, contributes to the normalization of peripheral (capillary) circulation and improvement of the functional state of the cardiovascular system.

It exhibits estrogenic activity by binding to the same receptors as estradiol (one of the main human estrogens).

Vitamin D3 is the natural form of vitamin D, which is formed in animals and humans.

Vitamin D3 is necessary for the functioning of the parathyroid glands, intestines, kidneys, and skeletal system.

It plays an important role in the absorption of calcium and phosphates in the intestines, transport of mineral salts, and the process of bone calcification, regulates the excretion of calcium and phosphates by the kidneys.

Women during menopause need to receive a sufficient dose of vitamin D3, because estrogen deficiency is associated with the risk of developing osteoporosis.

Vitamin K1 also plays an important role in bone formation and repair, ensures the synthesis of osteocalcin – a bone tissue protein on which calcium crystallizes, helps prevent osteoporosis.

It ensures normal blood clotting, supports blood vessel functions.

It participates in the regulation of redox processes in the body.

It is one of the components of cell membranes, actively influencing their structural properties and functions.

It promotes normal kidney function.

The components included in the Menoril® plus dietary supplement have a positive effect on a woman’s body during the climacteric period, namely contribute to

  • Reduction in the frequency of “hot flashes”;
  • Maintenance of normal blood pressure levels;
  • Reduction in the feeling of weakness, fatigue;
  • Reduction of headaches associated with “hot flashes”;
  • Improvement of mood, increase in sexual activity;
  • Bone mineralization;
  • Slowing down the process of age-related skin changes.
