Pharmacological Action

Napkins are impregnated with a unique solution, containing natural extracts and essential oils of burdock roots, linden, melilot, basil, clove, hamamelis, which will help quickly soothe the skin and relieve itching after insect bites.

Napkins are suitable for people leading an active lifestyle. They are indispensable on vacation, out of town, during sports or during a regular game in the yard.

Wet napkins are convenient for application and storage. Each package contains 10 napkins, packaged in an individual sachet. Thanks to the individual packaging, the napkins do not dry out and retain the initial impregnation. Napkins are convenient to store in a home first-aid kit and take with you on any trip or walk.

Indications

  • For the temporary relief of itching and discomfort associated with insect bites from mosquitoes, midges, and other non-venomous insects.
  • To soothe and cool the skin at the site of the bite.
  • As an adjunct to basic hygiene measures for minor skin irritations caused by insect bites.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the napkins, including the plant extracts (hamamelis, burdock, melilot, linden) or essential oils (basil, clove).
  • Do not use on broken skin, open wounds, deep puncture wounds, or severely inflamed and infected areas.
  • Contraindicated for use in individuals with a known allergy to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae family (e.g., ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds), as cross-sensitivity may occur.
  • Not for use in the eyes, on mucous membranes, or internally.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

For external use only. Open the individual sachet immediately before use. Take out one napkin and gently wipe the affected area of the skin. Apply sufficient pressure to ensure the solution is transferred to the skin.

The application can be repeated as needed to relieve itching, typically every 2-4 hours. Do not exceed 6 applications per day on a single bite area. Use only one napkin per application. After use, discard the napkin. Wash hands after application if the hands were not the treated area.

The duration of use is generally short-term. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen, discontinue use and consult a physician. This product is intended for use in adults and children over 3 years of age. For children under 3 years, consult a doctor before use.

Adverse Reactions

Like any topical product, these napkins have the potential to cause adverse reactions, although not everyone experiences them. The most common adverse reactions are local and related to skin sensitivity.

The following local skin reactions may occur: transient, mild burning or stinging sensation immediately upon application; redness (erythema); dryness; peeling; or itching at the application site. These reactions are usually mild and resolve on their own after discontinuation of the product.

In rare cases, allergic contact dermatitis may develop. Signs of an allergic reaction include severe itching, rash, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing. If any signs of a severe allergic reaction or significant skin irritation appear, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.

If you experience any side effects not listed here, you should inform your pharmacist or physician.

Drug Interactions

Since the product is applied topically and systemic absorption of the active components is expected to be minimal, significant drug interactions are not anticipated. However, caution is advised when using it concurrently with other topical medications.

Avoid applying other topical products (such as creams, ointments, lotions, or medicated wipes) to the exact same area immediately before or after using these napkins. This is to prevent dilution of either product, potential chemical interaction, or unpredictable increase in skin penetration, which could lead to increased irritation.

If you are using any other topical corticosteroids, antibiotics, or acne medications on a regular basis, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product to ensure safe and appropriate concurrent use. There are no known interactions with systemically administered (oral) medications.

Overdose

Overdose from the topical use of these napkins is unlikely due to the localized application and the low concentration of active ingredients. Symptoms of overdose would be an exaggeration of the potential adverse effects.

Excessive application to a single area or use over a very large body surface area could lead to severe skin irritation, widespread redness, burning sensation, or the development of a severe allergic rash.

In case of suspected overdose, discontinue use immediately. Gently wash the treated skin areas with mild soap and copious amounts of water to remove any residual solution. If skin irritation persists or is severe, seek medical advice or contact a Poison Control Center. If the product is accidentally ingested, drink plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention, showing the product package to the physician.
