Therapeutic Category
Dietary supplement with sedative action
Properties
A combined herbal preparation with a calming effect.
Nervo-Vit® is manufactured using a unique cryo-processing technology that preserves all biologically active substances and medicinal properties of the plants. It contains components of plants traditionally used as sedatives (valerian, lemon balm, motherwort, Polemonium caeruleum). Polemonium caeruleum not only has a prolonged sedative effect but also has a number of additional positive effects: expectorant, anti-ulcer, diuretic, antioxidant. The preparation is enhanced with vitamin C – a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes the action of free radicals formed during stress.
Properties of biologically active components
Polemonium caeruleum is 10 times more potent than valerian in its sedative effect. Rhizomes with roots of Polemonium caeruleum contain 20-30% triterpene glycosides, resinous substances, organic acids, essential and fatty oils, which allows for its effective use in neurosis, cardioneurosis, hysteria, insomnia, loss of strength, vegetative-vascular dystonia, epilepsy.
Lemon balm extract relieves feelings of anxiety and fear.
Valerian (rhizomes with roots) helps relieve nervous and muscular tension, excitement and spasms, get rid of fear and anxiety, normalize sleep, relieve headache attacks, lower blood pressure, improve the processes of food movement through the gastrointestinal tract and digestion, production of digestive enzymes, and has a choleretic effect.
Motherwort extract has a rapid calming effect, normalizes heart rhythm.
Vitamin C neutralizes the action of free radicals formed during stress, helps strengthen the immune system.
