Dietary supplement – additional source of B vitamins, choline, uridine monophosphate

Properties

A dietary supplement, a specially selected combination of neurotropic substances: B vitamins (B1, B6, B9, B12), a nucleotide (Uridine monophosphate) and choline, necessary for the restoration of nerve fibers, improvement of nerve conduction, strengthening of the nervous system and the general condition of the body. The properties of the product are determined by the properties of its components.

Uridine monophosphate is a crucial nucleotide necessary for maintaining metabolic processes in nerve tissue and the formation of myelin sheaths of nerve fibers. It supports adequate delivery of enzymes to nerve cells, stimulates cell division, vital activity and regeneration of peripheral nerves. Nerve cells do not have their own energy resources for nucleotide synthesis; the supply of uridine to nerve cells is carried out through the bloodstream from other cells, as well as through food and supplements containing uridine-5-monophosphate. Uridine monophosphate is particularly important for accelerating the recovery of damaged nerve fibers. In cases of peripheral nerve damage, the requirement for pyrimidine nucleotides, such as Uridine monophosphate, increases. Therefore, its intake from external sources is of utmost importance during the processes of nerve fiber recovery and regeneration.

B vitamins actively participate in biochemical processes that ensure the normal functioning of various structures of the nervous system.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine chloride) plays a fundamental role in energy production in the body, necessary for the growth, development and functioning of cells. It participates in the construction of nerve cell membranes. It is necessary for the biosynthesis of acetylcholine and is a crucial component of the excitation conduction system in nerve fibers (by activating chloride ion channels in nerve cell membranes). It protects nerve tissue cells from the toxic effects of lipid peroxidation products. It aids in the process of nerve tissue regeneration.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride) is necessary for the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous systems. It participates in the processes of glucose utilization by nerve cells. It is necessary for protein metabolism and transamination of amino acids. It participates in the synthesis and metabolism of a number of neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, histamine and GABA) and ensures the normal functioning of the nervous system, improving brain function. It accelerates regenerative processes in nerve tissue.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) plays an important role in cellular metabolism, nerve function and DNA production. Vitamin B12 is necessary for the preservation of the myelin sheath of neurons and for the synthesis of neurotransmitters. It promotes the myelination of nerve fibers, including in affected areas of nerves. It reduces the toxic effects of glutamate on nerve cells.

Folic acid (vitamin B9) is crucial for proper brain function and plays an important role in mental and emotional health. It participates in the production of DNA and RNA, the genetic material of the body. Folic acid also participates in the synthesis of amino acids, myelin and is necessary for the synthesis of the neurotransmitters dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine and serotonin. Together with vitamins B6 and B12, it controls the level of the amino acid homocysteine in the blood.

Choline is one of the main components of brain cell membranes and myelin sheaths of nerve fibers. It participates in the function of excitability and transmission of nerve impulses. It improves neuromuscular signal transmission and increases the speed of impulse transmission along nerve fibers.
