Pharmacological Action

It causes irritation of the sensitive receptors of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, dilates blood vessels, and improves tissue trophism.

It has a local irritant and analgesic effect.

Indications

  • Diseases of the musculoskeletal system and peripheral nervous system accompanied by pain syndrome.
  • Use for arthralgia, neuralgia, myalgia, sciatica, and radiculitis.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Apply externally to the area of painful areas and rub into the skin once a day.

For severe pain, apply and rub in twice a day until the pain syndrome disappears.

Use a thin layer of ointment, covering the entire affected area.

Do not apply to damaged skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes.

Wash hands thoroughly immediately after application.

Do not use for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if no improvement is observed after the initial treatment period.

Avoid using tight, occlusive dressings over the application site.

Adverse Reactions

In isolated cases, skin allergic reactions may occur.

Discontinue use immediately if signs of a local allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, or redness, appear.

Drug Interactions

Concurrent use with other topical products on the same skin area may increase the risk of local skin reactions.

Avoid concomitant use with other topical preparations containing salicylates or local irritants due to the potential for additive effects and increased risk of adverse skin reactions.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to this combination or any component of the ointment.
  • Skin diseases, including those of allergic and bacterial origin.
  • Active pulmonary tuberculosis, febrile conditions, or general exhaustion.
  • Severe cerebrovascular and coronary insufficiency or a tendency to angiospasm.
  • Severe hepatic or renal failure.
  • Pregnancy and lactation period.

Use with caution in children.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose are unlikely with topical application but may include intensified local adverse reactions.

In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention; symptoms may include salicylate toxicity such as tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, and hyperventilation.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

The use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Use in Hepatic Impairment

Contraindication — severe hepatic failure.

Use in Renal Impairment

Contraindication — severe renal failure.

Special Precautions

After use, hands should be washed thoroughly and contact with eyes, as well as open wounds and mucous membranes, should be avoided.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
