Organicheskiy (Tea) Instructions for Use
Properties
Herbal tea. The product’s action is determined by the type of plant material included in its composition.
The product used may contain raw materials from 1 to 5 of the plants listed below.
Origanum herb contains essential oil (carvacrol – 40-70%, gamma-terpinene, p-cymene, alpha-pinene, myrcene, thymol), tannins, flavonoids, caffeic acid and its derivatives (especially rosmarinic acid – 5%), vitamins. It possesses a wide spectrum of pharmacological activity. Origanum herb has an expectorant effect, enhances intestinal peristalsis and tone, increases gastric juice secretion, and exerts choleretic and diuretic effects. Galenic preparations of oregano have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and analgesic properties. In the form of an infusion, it has a sedative effect.
Fireweed leaves in terms of chemical composition contain carbohydrates, mucus, pectin, triterpenoids, oleanolic, ursolic, hydroxyursolic, and hydroxyleanolic acids; caffeic, coumaric, ellagic, and phenylcarboxylic acids; flavonoids: sexangularetin, kaempferol, quercetin, myricetin; quercetin rhamnoside and arabinoside; kaempferol rhamnoside; tannins, alkaloids, ascorbic acid and carotene; mineral salts of iron, copper, manganese, nickel, titanium, molybdenum, and boron. It has a calming, antispasmodic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anticonvulsant effect.
Nettle leaves. Fresh nettle leaves contain histamine, serotonin, acetylcholine, formic acid, leukotrienes, flavonoids (including rutin, isoquercitrin, astragalin, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside), silicic acid, essential oil, potassium ions, nitrates. Nettle juice has a diuretic effect; several studies have shown effectiveness in rheumatism. The hemostatic properties of nettle leaves are associated with their vitamin K content. Furthermore, the biologically active substances in nettle leaves help stimulate erythropoiesis, normalize lipid metabolism, exert choleretic and anti-inflammatory effects, and promote the improvement of regeneration processes.
Corn silk: has a choleretic, diuretic, and antispasmodic effect. Promotes the excretion of small stones from the urinary tract.
Shrubby cinquefoil contains tannins, organic acids, essential oil, triterpenoids (quinovic acid, tormentoside), phenols (pyrocatechol, phloroglucinol, pyrogallol), phenolcarboxylic acids (in the hydrolyzate gallic, caffeic, p-coumaric, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic); catechins: (+)-catechin, (-)-gallocatechin, (-)-epigallocatechin, (-)-gallocatechin gallate, (-)-epigallocatechin gallate, the flavonoid kaempferol; the anthocyanin glucoside cyanidin; lipids (higher fatty acids: lauric, pentadecanoic, palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic). It has a general strengthening, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, astringent, anti-burn, and antimicrobial effect. Promotes the formation of a protective film that protects tissues from chemical, bacterial, and mechanical influences. Reduces capillary permeability.
Linden has an antipyretic effect. The complex of biologically active substances in linden flowers (essential oils, saponins, flavonoids) has diaphoretic properties, which leads to a decrease in body temperature. Increases diuresis, enhances gastric juice secretion, increases bile formation, and has a mild sedative effect. When applied topically, it has an astringent, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effect.
Flax seed has a demulcent effect, which is provided by the content of a large amount of mucus (5-12%) and the glycoside linamarin. It also contains fatty acids (30-45%), including linoleic, linolenic, oleic; proteins, lignans, phenylpropane derivatives. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, promotes the acceleration of regeneration processes. It has a laxative effect.
Peppermint leaves cause a moderate sedative, antianginal, carminative, antihypoxic effect, choleretic, antiseptic, analgesic, antiemetic action. Menthol, beta-pinene, limonene, cineole, tannins, and ursolic acid provide antimicrobial, antifungal effects and contribute to the restoration of the functions of the ciliated epithelium of the upper respiratory tract. The therapeutic effects are mainly due to the components of the essential oil, of which menthol (60%) is the most studied. Menthol irritates the cold receptors of the oral mucosa, resulting in a reflex expansion of the blood vessels of the heart, brain, and lungs. Menthol stimulates the respiratory center and suppresses the gag reflex. Menthol and other components of the essential oil have an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract, gently stimulate the secretion of the digestive glands. Menthol in combination with the flavonoids of peppermint leaves provides a choleretic effect. Esters of isovaleric acid provide a sedative effect.
Common oat contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates, amino acids, gum, stigmasterol, beta-sitosterol, steroid saponins, organic acids, the glycoside vanillin and vitamins E, B1, B2. A. methionine, polyphenol, choline, salts of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, calcium, zinc, cobalt, manganese. An infusion of oat grains has a beneficial effect on the state of the cardiovascular system, nervous system, improves metabolism in the body (in particular, carbohydrate metabolism), and has a diuretic and antipyretic effect.
Chamomile flowers contain essential oils – levomenol, bisabolol oxide A, bisabolol oxide B, bisabolol oxide A, chamazulene, spathulenol; flavonoids – flavone glycosides, flavonol glycosides, aglycones, including quercetin, isorhamnetin, patuletin, as well as jaceidinem, chrysospenol, chrysosphenetin; hydroxycoumarins, including umbelliferone, herniarin; rhamnogalacturonan. Reduces the proteolytic activity of pepsin, has an anti-inflammatory effect. Due to the presence of chamazulene and essential oils, it inhibits lipid peroxidation, which is responsible for the antioxidant effect. It has an antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect (against Staphylococcus spp. and Candida spp.), improves tissue regeneration processes. It also has deodorizing and antipruritic effects.
Thyme has bactericidal and fungicidal effects associated with the components of the essential oil, including thymol, carvacrol, borneol, pinene, ursolic acid. It exhibits pronounced expectorant, mucolytic, and bronchodilatory effects, reduces swelling and inflammation of the bronchial mucosa, and activates the immune system. Antihypoxic activity is moderately expressed and is associated with linalool, geraniol, oxycinnamic acid, flavonoids (luteolin glycosides, apigenin), magnesium and selenium. Phenolic compounds irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa, increase the secretion of digestive glands, and have a carminative and diuretic effect. The increase in blood pressure is due to the action of thymol; the effect develops gradually, persists for a long time, and manifests only in individuals with arterial hypotension. Due to its sedative, analgesic, and mild uterotonic action, it is effective for algomenorrhea, dysmenorrhea.
Common bean pods contain the crystalline globulin phaseolin, saponins, tannins, the biologically active substance guanidine and its derivative acids – phosphoric, hydrocyanic, flavonoids (derivatives of quercetin and kaempferol), beta-sitosterol, amino acids, choline, beta-carotene, vitamins E, B1, B2, B6, biotin, ascorbic acid, carotene. An aqueous infusion has a hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, reparative (healing), diuretic, antimicrobial, antipruritic, and anti-allergic effect.
Rose hips pharmacological activity is determined mainly by the complex of vitamins (B vitamins, vitamin E, vitamin P, beta-carotene) and, primarily, ascorbic acid. It stimulates nonspecific resistance of the body, enhances tissue regeneration and hormone synthesis, reduces vascular permeability, participates in carbohydrate metabolism, and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Hibiscus flowers contain organic acids (including citric, malic, hibiscus acid), polysaccharides, anthocyanins, flavonoids, macro- and microelements. Intake in the form of an infusion helps improve appetite and has a choleretic effect. It has a mild laxative and diuretic effect.
