Pharmacological Action
A combined herbal medicine. It exerts a local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action.
Indications
- Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and pharynx including pharyngitis, laryngitis, and tracheitis.

Dosage Regimen

Apply the tablet topically by allowing it to dissolve slowly in the mouth.
Administer 1 to 4 times per day, with the exact frequency determined by the patient’s age and the severity of symptoms.

Adverse Reactions
Monitor for allergic reactions, which may include skin rash, itching, or urticaria.
Be aware that dyspeptic symptoms, such as nausea or stomach discomfort, occur rarely.
Discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention if any severe or persistent adverse effects develop.
Drug Interactions
Note that eucalyptus oil, a component of this preparation, has the potential to induce liver enzymes, specifically cytochrome P450.
This induction may lead to increased metabolism and reduced plasma concentrations of concurrently administered drugs that are substrates for these enzymes.
Exercise caution and monitor for potential decreased efficacy of other medications.
Contraindications
- Do not use in patients with a known hypersensitivity to levomenthol, eucalyptus oil, or any other excipients in the formulation.
- This drug is contraindicated in children under 8 years of age due to the risk of severe adverse reactions.
Assess patient history for these conditions prior to initiation of therapy.
Overdose
In case of accidental ingestion of a large number of tablets, expect symptoms related to the essential oil components, which may include gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and dizziness.
Initiate supportive and symptomatic care as there is no specific antidote.
Seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center for management advice.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
Pediatric Use
Use of the drug is contraindicated in children under 8 years of age.
Special Precautions
If symptoms of the disease persist or the condition worsens during use for 5 days, the patient should inform the attending physician.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 15°C (59°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
