Pharmacological Action
Ubidecarenone (ubiquinone, coenzyme Q10) is an antioxidant agent.
It has cardiotonic, cardioprotective, adaptogenic, and immunostimulating effects.
It helps restore physical performance and increases the body’s ability to adapt to increased loads, stress effects, and hypoxia.
Indications
Use for metabolic therapy in the following conditions:
- Coronary artery disease and the period of restorative therapy after myocardial infarction.
- Chronic heart failure to support myocardial metabolism.
- Enhancement of physical performance and adaptation to increased loads in athletes.
Also indicated for managing states of physical and mental overstrain.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Administer orally, regardless of meals. For coronary artery disease, the typical dosage is 30-45 mg taken three times daily.
The standard course of treatment lasts from 1 to 3 months. Repeated courses of therapy are permissible based on clinical need.
For athletes during preparatory and competitive periods, administer 45-75 mg two to three times daily for a duration of 7 to 10 days to enhance performance and adaptation.
Adverse Reactions
Adverse reactions are infrequent and typically mild. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea and stool disorders (diarrhea or constipation) may occur.
Discontinuation of therapy is generally not required. Report any persistent or severe adverse effects to a healthcare professional.
Drug Interactions
Exercise caution with concomitant use of warfarin and other vitamin K antagonists, as the product may potentially reduce their anticoagulant effect; monitor International Normalized Ratio (INR) closely.
No other clinically significant drug interactions have been definitively established. Inform your physician about all concomitant medications, including over-the-counter drugs and dietary supplements.
Contraindications
Do not use in patients with a known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to ubidecarenone (coenzyme Q10) or any of the excipients in the formulation.
- Contraindicated in individuals with a history of severe allergic reactions to the active substance.
No other absolute contraindications have been identified.
Overdose
No specific cases of overdose have been reported. The substance is generally well-tolerated, and serious adverse events from excessive intake are not expected.
In the event of suspected massive overdose, employ symptomatic and supportive care. Gastric lavage or administration of activated charcoal may be considered if ingestion was very recent.
Storage Conditions
Store at 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
