Properties

Querceprost is a complex of synergistically acting antioxidants for prostate health.

Properties of the components

Quercetin is found in a number of plants: Japanese pagoda tree, lovage, capers.

  • Provides support for prostate functions;
  • Can be used as an auxiliary agent in the complex therapy of chronic prostate pathologies;
  • Has an anti-inflammatory effect;
  • Acts on leukocytes – cells involved in allergic reactions and inflammation;
  • Regulates the immune response and the course of inflammatory reactions;
  • Induces the production of interferon-γ.

Lycopene is a carotenoid found in tomatoes, rose hips, guava. It selectively accumulates in prostate tissues.

  • Reduces the intensity of inflammatory and autoimmune processes in prostate tissues;
  • Protects cell membranes and DNA from damage during oxidative stress;
  • Reduces the level of PSA (prostate-specific antigen);
  • Helps reduce the risk of unwanted prostate tissue growth;

Naringin is obtained from grapefruit seed extract.

  • Exhibits anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity;
  • Supports the work of the body’s own antioxidant system;
  • Has antibacterial and immunomodulatory effects.

Zinc citrate is absorbed better than inorganic zinc compounds.

  • Exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity;
  • Participates in the activation of antioxidant proteins and enzymes;
  • Stimulates the work of immune cells;
  • Provides antimicrobial activity of prostate secretion.

Selenium (L-selenomethionine) is an organic form of selenium with high bioavailability (85-95%).

  • Supports the body’s own antioxidant defense;
  • Controls the activity of key antioxidant enzymes;
  • Helps reduce the risk of unwanted prostate tissue growth;
  • Positively affects male fertility.

Bioperine® is a patented extract of black pepper Piper nigrum fruits. Increases the bioavailability of Querceprost components.

Benefits of antioxidants in chronic prostatitis

  • Reduce inflammation and pain sensations;
  • Neutralize free radicals, reducing oxidative stress;
  • Weaken the negative impact of oxidative stress on prostate cells;
  • Protect prostate cells from additional “portions” of free radicals formed when taking antibiotics;
