Description

The Resource^® Optimum mixture is a universal, complete, and balanced nutrition.

It helps strengthen the body’s defense mechanisms during illness and is used for the prevention and correction of hypotrophy in pre- and postoperative periods, as well as supplementary nutrition for anemia and increased physical exertion.

The Resource^® Optimum mixture is intended for dietary therapeutic nutrition for children over 7 years of age and adults.

It can be used as the sole source of nutrition.

The unique protein composition ratio (50% casein and 50% milk whey protein) provides an optimal amount of amino acids necessary during recovery from illness.

20% MCT, as an easily accessible source of energy, is well tolerated even in malabsorption syndrome.

The flexible energy delivery method – from 1 to 1.5 kcal/ml – allows for individual selection depending on nutritional needs and appetite.

The Resource^® Optimum mixture contains Dietary fiber Prebio1 – prebiotics that promote comfortable digestion, and beneficial live microorganisms Lactobacillus Paracasei – probiotics that help strengthen the body’s defenses.

The Resource^® Optimum mixture has optimal osmolarity (290 mOsm/l); it does not contain lactose.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

The Resource^® Optimum mixture is intended for oral or tube feeding.

As supplementary nutrition, 2 servings of 250 ml per day are used.

Usage recommendations

Wash your hands. Use the table to determine the volume of nutrition that needs to be prepared.
Measure the required volume of clean boiled water (at room temperature) and pour it into a clean cup or container.
Measure the required amount of the mixture using the provided scoop, or weigh it on a scale.
Add the mixture to the water and mix immediately until completely dissolved.
After use, store the scoop inside the jar.

After preparing the mixture, the powder jar should be tightly closed.

Contraindications

Galactosemia;
Conditions in which any enteral nutrition is contraindicated.

Special instructions

The mixture is not intended for intravenous administration.

Resource^® Optimum should be used under medical supervision.

The mixture is packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Storage Conditions

Before and after opening the jar, the product should be stored in a dry, cool place at a temperature from 6°C (42.8°F) to 30°C (86°F) and relative air humidity not exceeding 75%.

The contents of an opened jar should be consumed within 4 weeks.

The diluted mixture should be used within 4 hours (if stored at a temperature from 18°C (64.4°F) to 25°C (77°F)) or within 12 hours (if stored in a refrigerator).
