Dolobene gel (Heparin sodium + Dexpanthenol + Dimethyl sulfoxide)

The composition and form of issue:

Gel for external use, 100 g contains:

DMSO, 10% H2O 16,66 g

(corresponds to a content of 15 g of dimethyl sulfoxide) 

heparin sodium 50,000 IU

dexpanthenol 2,5 g

in tubes of 50 or 100 g in a box 1 tube.

Indications:

• hematoma and inflammation of the soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments after injuries, compressions, injuries
• neuralgia
• injuries of joint with stretching or tearing of ligaments
• scapulohumeral periarthritis, epicondylitis, tendinitis, tendovaginitis, bursitis
• arthritis, deforming osteoarthritis (with the defeat of the periarticular tissues)
• superficial thrombophlebitis
• trophic ulcers on the background of chronic venous insufficiency.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity
• bronchial asthma
• severe renal and hepatic failure
• marked disorders of the cardiovascular system (severe angina, myocardial infarction, stroke, atherosclerosis expressed General)
• pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• children up to age 5 years.

Side effects:

Bad breath, altered taste sensation (disappearing after a few minutes), allergic reaction (itching, hives, angioedema).

Drug interactions:

Increases resorption (dimethyl sulfoxide) many substances, which are normally not penetrate the skin. Increases the likelihood of developing peripheral neuropathy on the background of medicines containing sulindac.

Method of application and dose:

Local. Apply a thin layer of gel on the skin of painful and around 2-4 times a day (unless otherwise directed) and gently RUB. When using iontophoresis gel is applied under the cathode. When phonophoresis dimethyl sulfoxide and heparin complement the therapeutic action of ultrasonic waves.

Special instructions:

Before applying the gel should be thoroughly clean the skin site from other drugs and contaminants. Should not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds or damaged skin.
